FEBRUARY NEWS

We have a new staff member, Ethan, who has started to work for us after a few years in a motorcycle shop. He is primarily training to be an engine rebuilder under Neville, who has been doing it for over 40 years. So he could not have a much better mentor. From lapping in valves to grinding cranks, there is no job Nathan won't be doing. The plan is to have him up to speed within a year or so to be able to do complete rebuilds. Of course, it takes years to be as good as Neville, but we all have to start somewhere!

We also have a new service starting in March, our mobile engineering workshop. Rural, on a farm, equipment you can't get in to see us? No problem, Warwick will come out to you and fix what can be done on site. If it can't be, he will remove it and bring it back to the workshop where it'll be done. And then Warwick will install it when it's ready. He has been doing on site welding, repairs and maintenance for many years and so is well versed in most things. He is not a mechanic, so engines are not his thing, but he can do most other jobs. If he can't, we'll find someone who can. So any farmers or lifestylers needing on site repairs or work done, we'll be happy to help.

On the photos below you can see the new wheel straightening and repairing machine, head plainer and view of the engine room.

And a finished head, new valves and all lapped in.
