Tom Scott describes himself as an “all-rounder” when it comes to his engineering. It’s trye he can put his hand to any kind of engineer repairs from heavy duty farm machinery to delicate piston re-bores.
His extensive engineering knowledge and experience were welcome assets to Lambert’s when he joined the Masterton firm in September 2020. Raised on an Alfredton farm, machinery was second nature and Tom completed his apprenticeship in Wairarapa before heading to Western Australia for ten years. There he worked in goldmines out of Kalgoorlie and in crane work near Karratha.
The call of home and family has led to Tom returning to the Wairarapa and he and his partner now have a young daughter.
